XMPP news
Cisco announced that they will aquire jabber Inc. Jabber which was the protocol name before it was adopted by the IETF as XMPP (extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol), is an open XML technology for real-time communication. Due to it’s open nature you find different (and many OSS) implementations for various clients and servers.
