update: startdate is now official at 10′th September

have a look at the current cooldown status. 96 tonnes of liquid helium is needed to maintain the 1.9K temperature required for superconductors. I recently read that this is aside all other things also a new record, until now most experiments only need “a spoon full” of helium for their experiments.
Keep going :-) I’ll keep my eye on this for sure
